For our customers that come here in person (or maybe already are here) , our guiding and interpreting/translation service can be a great help. Perhaps you want to visit the wholesale markets and need someone to guide you and help out with translation. Maybe you want to visit a factory and need an interpreter or may you have a meeting with a supplier that does not speak English. We will be able to help you! Translating and Guiding is a combined service but we will explain them separately bellow:
Guiding
China can feel like a whole other world to many foreigners and the wholesale markets can be like a whole other universe. There are many different wholesale markets in China but they have a few things in common:
- They are often extremely big with thousands of different suppliers, each one different from the other in many ways. Some you can trust, others will scam you.
- They are usually very crowded. There is a Chinese idiom called “人山人海” which literally translated means “seas and mountains of people”. That should give you a good idea of how some wholesale markets can feel like.
- Everyone in the market, both suppliers and customers, are there to make money and nothing else. Nothing in the world is for free, especially not in the wholesale markets and being naive can cost you a lot. People will offer to help carrying your things, transport your goods for free, giving you “extra good deals” etc. Don’t fall for it. If something sounds too good to be true, it is!
Hiring us to be your wholesale market guide will be a huge investment. We know our around, we know what wholesale markets that sell the products you are looking for, we know how to recognize scammers. Having a wholesale market guide at your side will save you a lot of time and money and can (and probably will) be the difference between a productive and lucrative visit in China and a waste of time.

Interpreting
Learning English is becoming very popular in China and a lot of the younger Chinese speak fairly good English, but the suppliers in the wholesale market are not young English students but Chinese business men and women with very limited English skills (if any). Needless to say, if you want to do business in the wholesale market, you will have to hire a translator to accompany you.
There are plenty of young Chinese English students that moonlights as translators/interpreters in all different price ranges, but how much help do you think they will be able to offer you when doing business in the wholesale markets or when visiting a factory? Do they know how to negotiate? Do they understand the market? Do they know how to avoid scams? Will they be able to guide you to the right places? Do they know how to talk to suppliers/manufacturers?
We are not just translators/interpreters but guides as well. We don’t just know how to help you cross the language barrier, we will be able to help you to actually do what you came here for: doing business and making money!
We wont just be able to help you translate, we will also be able to help you negotiate. We know what to expect when doing business in the wholesale market and we know how to recognize a good deal from a bad one. We will not just be able to help you talk with the supplier/manufacturer but also advice you on the situation.
