Guangzhou and its nearby areas have many factories for fashion jewelry. For clients who wish to order larger amounts of jewelry, it might be a good idea to order directly from a factory instead of ordering from a supplier in the wholesale market. Ordering from a factory has many benefits, but the biggest ones are:
- You will be able to get a better price since there won?t be any middle hands.
- You will be able to make your own design with the exact specifications of your choice.
- You will be able to use your own brand name and logo on the jewelry.
- You can use custom made packaging for your jewelry.
However, there are a few requirements for manufacturing. There is for example the MOQ (minimum order quantity). The MOQ can vary depending on the kind of jewelry you wish to order, but it?s usually around 100-300 pcs.
When manufacturing, you can order jewelry of almost any material. The most common ones are stainless steel, metal alloy, acrylic, glass, plastic, silver plating and copper.
Our process:
This is how we work if you decide to hire us for helping you with manufacturing:
1. Samples: First we will require that you send us samples of the item you wish to manufacture, preferably two samples so that we can give one to the manufacturer and keep one for reference when doing the quality control. Of course, changes can be done to the design if you want.
2. Sourcing: When we have received your samples, we will charge a 300$ fee to start the sourcing process. We will help you find up to 3 different manufacturers or suppliers for the item you want, get you price quotes and make you samples for you to compare (the price for the sample itself is not included in this price). Please note the supplier/manufacturer will also charge a one time sample fee for preparing materials and equipment to make your particular item which usually is around 30$-50$. If the sample then still needs changes, the supplier/manufacturer will remake the item until it is the way you want it.
Note: We will not pay the supplier/manufacturer any money until you have confirmed that you are satisfied with the result. This way you will have the advantage if any additional changes needs to be made or if the quality is not good enough. You should always be sure you get the results you want before paying when doing business in China, because quite often if you?ve already payed, then they simply wont care anymore.
3. Deposit: After you have confirmed that the sample made by the manufacturer is acceptable, the manufacturer will require a deposit to start the production. The deposit is usually 30% of the cost of the whole order.
4. Production: During the manufacturing process we will keep in touch with the factory to make sure that everything is going according to plans and keep you up to date.
5. Proforma invoice: When the production is close to completion we will send you a proforma invoice that includes an estimation of the remaining 70% of the production fee, our service fee, shipping cost and other expenses (if there are any).
6. QC: Once the manufacturing is completed, we will thorough quality control to make sure that everything is up to par. We will control color, style, quality and weight. We will also randomly choose items from the whole batch and make sure that they are a perfect match and that no flaws whatsoever can be found.
7. Paying the manufacturer: Once we have completed the QC we will send you a report with any errors found and wait for your confirmation. After we have received your confirmation we will pay the manufacturer.
8. Shipping: We can offer very competitive prices for shipping using our own agent or we can use any agent of your choosing. We will send you an exact price quote and leave the choice to you.
9. After service: If you find any errors after you?ve received your goods, you can contact us and we will try our best to solve the problem together with you and the suppliers. If the goods are damaged or any mistakes has been made, we will help you working out a solution.
